[first column:]

Dear Mrs Boehme,

I was very glad to get your letter, card & cuttings y'day. I've not had time to read them yet as I was ... y'day on getting in to Munich. I went to Tannhäuser in the Ey to head Maud Fay - a charming American - as Elizabeth.

I hope you have since got news that your husband's ship left Kirkwall [?] safe & and with him on board. Please let me know when you have any news. He had two or three letters for me.

[second column:]

I sent you "The sickman" & I wrote another fable the other day - also some other more serious things - on Sir S[?] Grey & Viscount Bryce.

When I come back to Berlin I shall surely count out and see you at Liefe[?].

Meantime very kind regards to your Father & Mother -- inlaw - and love to the children.

Yours v. sincerely,

Roger Casement
