Tuesday Night
Dear Kids - Just got your nice long letter that you wrote Sat. + received watch also today. Surely was glad to get both. Well I got a transfer today over to North Post. Don't know if it is a promotion or not. Will tell you more the next time I write. I wrote + thanked you for the cookies. They were pretty well broken up but we ate them just the same. As soon as I get time I think I can arrange to get you some raisins. I sure wish those pictures had been a little plainer but please send me the films or the pictures. Don't you think that one is good of Jimmy + I? I sure wish I could see all of you. I miss the boys a lot. I know they are growing fast. I guess the next time I see them they will be so big I will hardly know them.
Yes I used almost a teaspoon of salt in gold fish bath.
I am still working on my O.C.S. deal but seems there is a lot of red tape to go through.
Joe Eavaldi from Murphysboro got his discharge so guess he will be

going back to civilian life soon.
I had some pictures taken but haven't seen the proofs as yet. Hope they are good. Don't know a thing to tell you. Wish I was there + could have a _good_ cup of coffee. Write often.
