Dear Mr. Sumbry,

Thank you for writing on behalf of the Russell County Voters Association and the other groups.

I will not be able to come to Phenix City before the beginning of 1970, because of a lecture tour that will take me out of Atlanta most of the time from now through the new year. I wonder if you might like to consider a weeekend in January, February, or March.

I also suggest you contact the Voter Education Project, Inc. , at 5 Forsyth Street, NW, Atlanta. Mr. Marviabethe person you should write for information on voter registration drives.

I am enclosing a copy of a little book I did last summer for the Voter Education Project.
