Mt. Morris, Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1897.

Visitor: Mrs. Witsman sojourned with us last night. After breakfast she returned home.

Thursday, Dec. 30th
Visit: At 9 a.m., Jennie and children go out to visit Middour's in the milk sled, and at 4 p.m., John goes to bring them home in the buggy.
Hotel for Sale: Hotel Rohrer was offered at Public Sale this p.m.---was not sold.

Friday, Dec. 31st
Sick today. Cold, sore throat + stomach out of order. In bed--up and down. Got it down for influenza or grippe.
Flurry of snow. Strong winds---temp. at 2 p.m. -- 20 degrees.
