congregations of P. Edward & Cumberland.

He afterward[s?] became [President?] of
the College at Princeton N.J.

1776 John Blair Smith [became?] assista[nt?]
of his brother After Saml [tune?] Jno B
Smith be[came?] principal & also pastor
of Cu[mb.?] & Br[iery?] churches

1783 Charter of Hampden Sidney C[ollege?]
obtained, and Jno Blair Smith pre[??]

1788 President Smith retur[ns?] from a
duty, & Rev. D[rury?] Lacy Cook took charge [as?]
Vice President _

1792. Rev Archd Alexander pastor of P[rinceton?]
& C[??] Crick Churches had charge of the
College jointly with Drury Lacy, moved to
the college & resigned his more distant chu[rch?]
[??]ing at Br[in?] & at the College

A few years later elects President
andn Mr Lacy [themd?] as School near [by?].
The College was then very low _
