Special Orders, No. 162.

(Extract.)

9. The following named enlisted men, escaped Prisoners of War, now supposed to be at the Soldiers' Rest, Washington, D. C. will report in person to the Commanding Officers of their respective regiments for duty, with permission to delay en route thirty days :- Private James W. Lucas Company "L," 3d Kentucky Cavalry. The Quartermaster's Department will furnish the necessary transportation.
