1931. Stayed at home all day my cold isn't much better. Miss Nannie, Mother, Dad & myself played rook tonight.

1932. Came to town this morning and went to school I passed in all my subjects & am in 12 A group now. Mrs. Mann, Ernest & myself went over to Mrs. Thomas's a little while tonight.

1933. I washed a few pieces this morning and ironed them this afternoon. I got a letter from Rex today. Mother and I played Rum tonight.

1934. I cleaned up the house, got dinner & ironed today. Uncle Brock spent the day with us & is going to spend the night. Uncle Brock & Rex went to the island this morning.

1935. Jessie came this morning & spent the day with us. Jim brought her. Jessie ironed for us today. I ironed a few pieces & got dinner. a Miss Joy came after her this afternoon, Albert came a while tonight. He said Jim was better today.

1931. Stayed at home all day, my cold isn't much better. Heard of Howard and Marguerite getting married.

1932. Went to school today, and to Mr. Frank Barton's funeral this afternoon. Mrs. Mann, Ernest, & myself went to Mrs. Mitchell's a while tonight.

1933. Mother, Dad & I went to town today and I bought some new clothes. I weighed 129 pounds with my coat on. We went to see Mrs. Mann a little while and I went with Ernest to school a while this afternoon. I mailed a letter to Rex today.

1934. I finished ironing & got dinner this morning. Uncle Brock went home this afternoon and I went home with him and went Mother's. I am going to stay a few days with Mother & Dad.

1935. It has rained nearly all day & Rex & I didn't get to go to see Mother & Dad as we had intended to. I wrote a letter to Mother today, churned & read some. Rex & Dock went to town this afternoon. Modest, Ruby & Jasper came a little while this afternoon.
