I feel better today. I have done the general house work & read some & read some to Robert this afternoon. I read some tonight also. Rex & I played 2 games of checkers & Rex won Both of them. It is some colder today. We wan't to kill hogs tomorrow if it is cold enough. Rex got through stripping tobacco. Claronce, Mr. Jones & Nealie Gipson help Rex today.

I have felt fairly well today but Mother has felt awful bad. She has had the colic. I have cleaned up the house and have done the general house work. Rex, Claronce & I played Rook tonight. It is some colder today but Rex was afraid it wasn't cold enough to kill hogs. I took a bath this afternoon & gave Robert a Bath.
