Saturday, January 18, 1947 Rex,Robert & I went to town this afternoon. Robert went to Jessie's and I went to the show. Rex sold some chickens for Mother & I this morning and they brought $21.16. I got Rex a shirt for his b birthday & got a Book for Robert to give him. I read some tonight. Rex read some also.

Rex, Robert & I wen't to Church at LIberty this morning.
Evelyn & Amelia told me that Rudell said tell me Kathryn is bad sick. Rex & I wen't to see Kathryn this afternoon. I don't believe she will live many Days. Stanley is getting along fairly well. Stanley's mother & Rudell were with them & they had lots of company. Dr. Finley came while we were there. Rex & I Read some tonight.
