Robert & I started walking to Aunt Jessie Slaton's to the missonary meeting. We stopped at Callie's a few minutes and Nannie Mae came along so we got to ride with her. So we didn't have to walk. I enjoyed the day real well. I think Robert had a big time as there were several children for him to play with. Sis brought us home & will spend the night with us. We stopped to see Modest. She says Rubye is better.

Friday, June 20, 1947
Sis left this Morning and will spend the day with Jessie. She is going to help Jessie do some Sewing. I havn't done anything much today. Just the general house work. I took a nap this afternoon . I havn't felt so well today. I wrote a letter to Eula Vaulter.
