Monday, June 23, 1947
We washed this Morning. Mother got dinner and I washed. Mother helped me some. Rex and Robert took me to Loyd's this afternoon. Rubye is getting along very well . I walked home. We looked for Lawrence and Jean tonight but they didn't come. I went to bed early as I was tired.

Tuesday, June 24, 1947
I made 2 cakes this morning and boiled a ham. Rex went to town, court met. I ironed a few pieces and moped & waxed the kitchen Rug and Mother & I cleaned up the house.
