I cleaned up the house and read some. Mother went to Mrs. Jones this afternoon. I havn't done anything much except read some & got mad at James Fredrick. I think he is hard on Robert. I told him to go home and stay. Rex didn't like it because I told James to go home but I don't care . I read some tonight.

Saturday, June 28, 1947
Rex took Robert & I to town this Morning. Robert went to Jessie's. I got some new arch supports and slippers and 2 dresses. I ate down in town then I went to the show. Rex came home & went to Dock's & worked in hay. I went to Jessie's this afternoon. Rex came after Robert and I late this afternoon. Rex went Fox hunting with Fletcher & Mr. Will Cardwell and one or two more men tonight.
