Rex,Robert & I went to Loyd's this afternoon. Rubye is better. Albert & Edna came to see Rubye & Mary and Stella and John Marion so she had plenty of company maybe too much. She gets nervous at times but seems to be doing fine. I read some tonight.

Monday, June 30, 1947
We washed. I took a nap this afternoon and read while in bed. We looked for Lawrence and Jean tonight but they didn't come. Mrs. Jones came a little while this afternoon and brought us some Green Beans.
