We ironed this morning and made over 1 gallon of plumb [plum] preserves. I mended the clothes. Mr. & Mrs. Will Cardwell and Mr. & Mrs. Neal Hollinger were here a little while this afternoon. I went to Mrs Jones a little while late [later] this afternoon. Mary was at home. Mrs. Jones thinks Mrs. Fredrick is in bad shape. Robert & Rex saw her and the children walk past here late this afternoon. They went down the hill where Mr. Fredrick was working for Rex. He will work tonight.
