I hoe'd 8 rows in the garden & cleaned up the house. I read some this afternoon & took a nap. Rex has work all day and worked part of the night. We listened to the Radio some. I got a letter from Alyene Rogers. She says for me to be sure to come to see them when Aunt Georgia & Jimmy comes. I sure hope I get to go.

Nannie Mae & Bob came a while this Morning. They were going to Aunt Jessie Slaton's. Rex worked today. He wanted to sow some Buck-Wheat & said if he couldn't get it sowed before many days it would be too late. Nora Lee, Amelia, Mrs. Kirkwood and some girls came a few minutes. They wanted to tell me Liberty meeting starts tomorrow night. Mother & I froze some cream this afternoon. Robert & I walked down to the tobacco patch. We went to see about the cucumber's and we got a mess of Green Beans. We got plenty of mosquiters bites.
