Sunday, December 28, 1947 362nd Day - 3 days to Follow I wen't to see Mrs. Jones this morning. She is some better than she was yesterday but still in the bed and looks bad. Callie come over this morning and called the doctor to come and give Mrs. Jones another Shot. Mary and Aunt Jessie come a little while this afternooon. they wen't to see Mrs. Jones also. We listened to the Radio and read some tonight.
Sat. December 27, 1947 Lawrence, Jean and Thermon Smith come tonight. The men wen't for hunting. Jean stayed and talked to mother and I.
Monday, December 29, 1947 363rd Day - 2 Days to Follow Today has been a pretty day. The sun has been shining and is warm. We washed a large washing. I wen't to see Mrs. Jones this afternoon. She says she feels better but she looks bad to me. Callie was at Mrs. Jones part of the time while I was there. We looked for Jean and Lou since tonight but they didn't come. I read some tonight.

Tuesday, December 30, 1947 We ironed today. Loyd ate dinner with us. He has been helping Rex tack felt on the little house where Elmer & wife will move. I went to see Mrs. Jones this afternoon. She said she didn't feel so well today. Mrs. Linnard Gatlin and one of her grand-son's were at Mrs. Jones. I read some tonight and listened to the Radio. Rex went fox hunting a little while.
Wednesday, December 31, 1947 Loyd ate dinner with us. He has been helping Rex work. Elmer & Beatrice moved this afternoon to our little house. It rained some this afternoon so I didn't go to see Mrs. Jones this afternoon. I read some this afternoon. Uncle Brock has worried us all day and half of last night as he has lost his pocket book. He has been seaching all day for his money and pocket book. Listened to the Radio some tonight and read some. It is raining tonight.
