Thursday, February 13, 1947 It has rained all day. Mrs. Smith and I went down to the River today but didn't catch any fish. Rex, Robert & I went to see Ernest late this afternoon. Rex & Dock went to see about buying some lots. He aims to buy 3 lots and build a one room house. We got lost when we started back to Mr. Smith's and had to go back to Ernest's and get direction. a small town yet we got lost.

Friday, February 14, 1947 Rex & Robert went to Ernest today. It has been cloudy and rained a little. Rex, Robert & I went to a Boat Perade this afternoon and saw a real Indian. He sang a song. An Indian first discovered the river. The ones that were on the Boats were dressed like Indans. part of the program was tonight but we didn't go. We just went this afternon.

Saturday, February 15, 1947 Robert, Mrs. Smith & I went for a Boat Ride this afternoon but we didn't catch any fish. Rex went over to Ernest. He wants to start his house soon. We listened to the Radio tonight.

Sunday, February 16, 1947 Mr. & Mrs. Smith and I went to Sunday School. Mr. Smith stayed for church. Robert, Rex & I went to Tarpon's Springs this afternoon & went on a Boat and saw a Sponge diver dive for some Sponge. Mrs. Smith, Robert Rex and I went to Church tonight.

Monday, February 17, 1947 I washed a few pieces this morning and made some Soap for Mrs. Smith. We went down to the River several times today. We went down in New Port Richey this afternoon and I bought some Postal cards and a pretty vase for mother. Rex & Robert have been gone. Near where Ernest lives. They have started the house.

Tuesday, February 18, 1947 Mrs. Smith & I went to the River several times. Mrs. Smith, Robert & Rex went to Tarpon's Springs this afternoon. Mrs. Smith & I went to Mr. Allen's & took him some dinner. He is an artist & read interesting. Rex, Robert & I went over to the place where he is building the house. I went down to Ernest & saw Mrs. Ellis. Listened to the Radio tonight.

Wednesday, February 19, 1947 Mrs. Smith & I washed some this morning. I don't feel so well. I feel like I was taking a bad cold. Mrs. Smith, Robert & I went fishing this afternoon. We didn't catch any fish but had a nice Boat Ride. Robert got a Valentine card from Jessie & Jean Hill. I got a card from Jessie & letter from Mother.

Thursday, February 20, 1947 Mrs. Smith Robert & I went to the River several times. Rex, Robert & I went to our new home we are building this afternoon. Cecil Preston has started his home also. We went to Ernest and saw Mrs. Ellis. Mr. Sam Smith's son and daughterin-law came tonight & will stay all night here.

Friday, February 21, 1947 Mr. Sam Smith, his son & daughter-in-law went to Tampa today. Mrs. Smith, Robert & I went to Tarpon Springs this afternoon with Mrs. Hansey and his daughter - in - law. We sit around tonight and talked to all the folks. Mr. Sam Smith's son and daughter - in - law will start for home tomorrow morning.

Saturday, February 22, 1947 (Washington's Birthday) Mr. Sam Smith's son & daughter - in - law started home this morning. They live at Warren Ohio. Rex, Robert & I went to our new home this afternoon. I guess he will have it completed enough to move in Monday. We can do some work after we move. Listened to the Radio some tonight. I got a letter from Mother. I don't feel well.
