Alcohol 8 oz
Spirits Turpentine 8 oz
Camphor Gum 1 "
Pulverised Canthariades 1 "
[Capsecum crossed out] Oil ceder 1 "
Oil Spike 3 "
Mix well and then
it is ready for use.

General Ointment
Rosin 4 oz
Bees wax 4 "
Lard 8 "
Honey 2 "
Melt these articles slowly
bringing to a boil. then
remove from the fire and
then add slowly a little
less than a pint of turpentine
stiring all the time you are adding
the turpentine & stir till cool.
