Genuine cure for a curb Spavin Oil Organum 2 oz Oil Fir 2 oz Laudanum 1 oz Alcohol & (Oil ceder 1 oz) 8 oz Camphor 2 oz Oil Spike 1/2 " Spirits Turpentine 8 " if you want it strong 16" apply & rub it thoroughly in with hand or corn cob.twice a day for two days then rest one day, & then repeat 3 times with the same form then grease with sweet oil & if it dont peal of in 2 days apply again & keep the horse still as possible for 2 weeks.

Condition Powder for Cough Flour of Sulphur 2 oz Pulverized Lickotice root 2 " Mandrake Root 3 " Gentian 2 " Fenugreek 2 " Jamaica Ginger 4 " Columbo 2 " [Cayenne crossed out] Black pepper 2 oz [Black Cohush crossed out] 2 " Nitri salt peter 2 " Mix well & let stand 1 day Dose. One tablespoonful once a day with oats or Bran mash The best time to give is at night

Mange in cows & remedy Wash the parts with Strong soap suds & mix Lard 1 pt Spirits Turpentine 1 oz Sulphur 2 oz Sulphuric acid 3 drs Anoint after washing and drying.

Remedy for Liver Complaints in horses is this.

Sulphur, the Flour 2 oz Gentian 2 " Jamaica Ginger 2 " Mandrake Root Pul 2 " Pulverized Lickotice root 2 " Septandrin 2 " Dandelion Root Pul 2 " Nitri 2 " Fenugreek 2 "

Well mixed. Dose Tablespoonful once aday

Also 20 cts worth Podaphyllin & divide in 12 Powders, given once a day in bran mash Wet with Pint Sassafrass Tea till the powders are gone

Goyter in Horses

Lard 1 pt Turpentine Spirits 1 pt Iodine 1 oz Oil ceder 1 oz Oil oreganum 1 oz Mix thoroughly & apply to the swelling & wash once in two days with hot soapsuds and if not removed in this way Make a carrot Poultice and put on over night, then repeat the above & wash off &c. with the repeating process for a week or so is a sure cure

Worms in Horses Give two doses of Fernweed extract Dose 4 times as much for a horse as for a person. Dose 1/2 of it & in 30 hours give the ball once if no operation in that time.

For Dissentery in Horses or Cattle 1 oz Laudanum. Tincture of 1 oz Benzoin. 1/2 " Oil of Juniper. 2 " S. Spirits of Nitre. Doe. 1/2 the above in 1 1/2 pts of warm rainwater and if need be, in once hour 1/2 the remainder. if not fully relieved in 1 hour more give the remaineder.

2d The above is very good for person in Diarrhea in doses from 1/2 to 1 teaspoonfull repeat every hour till stoped.
