Friccadilloes

Chop fine any kind of meat,
some fat may be used.
Season well with any preferred
seasoning.
Add 1/4 as much bread as there
is meat.
Crumb the bread fine and moisten
with beaten egg and milk. Season.
Shape in small round cakes.
Brown lightly in a frying pan
with enough lard and butter to
keep from sticking.
