Dry Mustard Pickles.
1/2 gallon small cucumbers
2 tbsp. dry mustard
2 tbsp. coarse salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1 quart vinegar
Pack cucumbers into sterilized
jars. Mix together the mustard
salt, sugar + vinegar; pour
over the cucumbers and seal.

Mixed Dill Pickles
1/2 gallon medium sized cucumbers
6 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. coarse salt
2 sprigs fresh dill or
1 1/2 tbsp. dill seed
1 qt. vinegar or enough to
cover pickles
Soak the cucumbers overnight
in cold water. Drain + pack
into sterilized jars. Mix sugar
salt, dill + vinegar + pour
over the cucumbers + seal.
