Quick Blueberry Nut Bread
Beat 2 eggs, add 1 cup sugar
gradually; mix thoroly [thoroughly]. Add 1 cup
milk & 3 tbsp. melted shortening or
salad oil. Sift 3 cups of flour 1 tsp.
salt & 4 tsp. Baking poweder add to
liquid mixture & stir only until
blended. Carefully fold in 1 cup
fresh blueberries & ½ cup broken
California walnut meats. Pour into
greased 5 by 12 inch loaf pan &
bake in moderate oven 350° for
50 to 60 min.

Bavarian Raspberry Cream.
Dissolve 1 pkg. lemon flavored gelatine
in 1 cup hot pineapple juice; add ½
cup orange juice. Chill until slighlty
thickened; beat until fluffy, fold in
1 cup heavy cream, whipped and 1 cup
crushed raspberries. Chill until firm
in large mold or in sherbet
glasses. Serves 6-8.
