Doughnuts

2 cups hot mashed potatoe 1 cup sweet milk 3 eggs 2 tablespoons melted lard 1 teaspoon salt nutmeg 5 cups flour 4 tablespoons baking powder

Cheese Sandwiches 1/2 lb cheese grated 1 table spoon of butter, yolks of 3 eggs hard boiled. 1 teaspoon of mayonaise, mash the yolks well and mix with the other ingredients, spread + fold

Good Sandwich filling

1 cup thick cream whipped then put in equal parts of chopped celery and grated cheese enough to thicken it to spread. Add a little salt and cayenne

Pla[ni] lemon pie

Grate rind of 1 lemon use juice, 1 cup sugar 1 cup water 3 eggs leaving whites of 2 1 tablespoon corn starch cook before putting in shell, use whites for top. 2 tablespoons pulverized sugar

Lemon pie Make crust + bake first juice + grated rind of 1 lemon 1 cup sugar, yolks of 2 eggs 3 tablespoons flour a little salt. 1 cup boiling water mix and boil in double boiler till thick use whites for top

Pudding Sauce

beat yolks of 3 eggs add cup of sugar 1 cup sweet milk butter size of walnut boil until it thickens

Chocolate pie

4 tablespoons grated cho 1 pint milk, 2 tables corn starch, yolks of 2 eggs 5 tablespoons sugar, salt teaspoon vanilla. heat milk add chocolate + corn starch add egg + sugar last cover top with whipped cream

Chocolate pudding 1 qt milk. dissolve 1/2 box cox gelatine in a little of the milk, to the remainder add 5 tablespoons sugar. yolks of 8 eggs 3 tablespoons grated chocolate, cook 15 minutes, when cool stir in the well beaten whites of the eggs + 1 teaspoon vanilla stir well + [??] in mould put on ice pour out on platter serve with cream

Chocolate pudding

1 qt milk sweetened to taste and flavored with vanilla not quite 1/4 lb Bakers Chocolate scraped + dissolved. Slowly beat yolks of 3 eggs with 2 tablespoons corn starch, boil up once more. Pour [in?] a dish beat whites of eggs + spread on top with cracked almonds + course sugar

Pudding Sailor Duff

1 egg 1 1/2 cups flour 1/2 cup mollases 2 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons melted butter 1 teaspoon soda dissolved in warm water Beat well + add 1/2 cup boiling water, and steam 1 hour

Sauce for pudding yolks of 2 eggs 1 cup powdered sugar, beat together 1/2 cup cherry wine + 1/2 pint whipped cream

Hard Sauce for pudding 1 cup powdered sugar 1 tablespoon cream 1/3 cup butter 1 teaspoon vanilla

Boiled Custard 2 cups milk yolks of 3 eggs lightly beaten with 1/4 cup sugar + 1/2 teaspoon butter, nutmeg + salt. put milk + eggs in double boiler. Stir constantly till it thickens + sticks to spoon while hot add whites beaten stiff with 1 teaspoon vanilla
