Ice Cream


1½ 2 qts milk 4 6 t cornstarch
3 4 eggs a pinch of salt
½ + ⅛ or ⅝ lb ¾ lb sugar
Rub starch in a little cold
milk; beat the eggs + sugar
to gether, bring milk to a boil
then stir in cornstarch; remove
from the fire at once. Stir
in the eggs + sugar throughly
to keep the eggs from hardening
When the cream is cold add
flavoring + freeze.
