Sir: Again allow me to ask that steps be taken, if not already taken, to release me as one of the sureties of Thos. J. Henley Supt Indians Affairs. Sufficient reason presents to urge this application upon you, as an act-of justice if not legal right. It cannot be that after repeated applications submitted thro you to the government, I am legally held
