In reply to yours of the 18th inst. inquiring whether
I would receive the Indians now colleced at
Fort Jones, on one of the Indian Reserves, I have to
state that I am prepared to receive Indians at the
Nome Lackee Reservation, and will take charge of
those alluded to, at any time it may be convenient
to send them there.
