I hearby Certify, that Samuel Jenison Esq., before whom the within Instrument was made and executed and who has thereunto subscribed his name, was, at the time of so doing, a Justice of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid, duly commissioned and sworn, and that his signature thereto is genuine. I further certify that the said Affidavit is made and executed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto signed my name and affixed the seal fo the County Court Tehama County aforesaid, at Red Bluff this 26th day of February A.D. 1859.
