Voucher 25 - T. A. Henley - Trad'g Exp's - $120.50 Item 1. Passage of Sup't to Mendocino - Item 2 - Passage of Supt from Mendocino to San Francisco. Items 3 & 4 - Horses sent to Point Reyes to collect cattle. Items 5, 6, 7 - Supt returning from Nome Lackee by land. Item 8. Supt stopping at Cache Creek to count cattle driven from Point Reyes. Item 9 - Dinner on the road. Item - 10 - Dinner at Tehama. Item 11 - Supt returning from Mendocino. Item 12 - This was a horse maid on the trip of Messrs Browne & Bailey (see remarks to Vr 16-3 qr 1858) to the Reservations, and was left at Cloverdale on their return, to be sent back to Mendocino, at which place it belonged. Item - 13 - Supt returning from Mendocino. Items 14 & 15 Telegrams paid for at request of Mr Bailey. Items 16. Messrs Tobin & Clement returning form trip of Browne & Bailey. Item 17 - Mr Tobin visiting Point Reyes to attend to the government cattle at that place.

Voucher 26. Jas Tobin - Travl'g Exp's - $331~ Items 1 to 24 inclusive are for expenses in collecting and guarding cattle at Point Reyes. The travel on Teamers was to report to Sup't at San Francisco in reference to an attempt made to steal and drive away a portion of these cattle - and in sending process to arrest parties, returning process &c which made several trips necessary.

Items 25 to 29 inclusive, for expenses in removing the above mentioned cattle to Nome Lackee. Items 1 to 10 inclusive & Item 24 are for removing Point Reyes cattle to Nome Lackee. Items 1 to 23 inclusive are for expenses of J. Tobin and E.B. Clement in accompanying J. Ross Browne and G. Bailey to Reservations. Items 1 to 26 inclusive - expenses in killing and drying beef at Point Reyes as mentioned in explanations to Voucher 14 of C. B. Ellis.

Voucher 27. J. H. Harris - Messenger - $300~ Explanation same as to Vr 31. 1 qr. 1858.

Voucher 28. Jas. Tobin - Services - $375~ The service in collecting the Cattle at Point Reyes, was necessary from the fact that the Government cattle romping at that place, were needed at the reservations for consumption; and the land on which they were foraging being private property, I was compelled to remove them. Services of this character could not be procured at a less price. For necessity of persons to accompany Messrs Browne and Bailey in visiting the Reservations, see explanations to Voucher 16-3 qr.1858- Alas, for necessity of service in killing cattle at Point Reyes see explanations to Vr 14-3 qr 1858

necessity; and the books were used by this office, and by the different agencys. They have proved a great convenience in taking sub-vouchers. The work could not have been perceived at a less price. Printing is high in California and I have at all times been careful to obtain it at the lowest rates. The authority for this expenditure is regarded the same as that which authorizes printing blank vouchers, property returns &c.

Voucher 31. J. P. Overton - Office Rent - $450~ Explanation same as to Vr 52. 1 qr. 1858.
