Sir
I have the honor to submit herewith,
Bills in favor of J. F. Hills, of San Francisco
for goods claimed to have been furnished
for the Indian Service from January 1859
to March 1 1860.
The enclosed bills were left in
my care by Supt Wentworth in April last,
with the statement, that he would address
you a letter enclosing them for the action
of the Indian office.
They not having been
called for I have deemed it proper
to enclose them herewith.
Very Respectfully
Your Obedient Servant
