and a Solicitation also from the Creditors for Supplies furnished and Service rendered the Fresno Indian Agency during the two last mentioned fiscal Years Expressive of their wishes as to the Remittance and payment of the amounts due them as shown by the Statement as aforesaid.

It will be seen by a comparison of the Vouchers and Signaters to the Solicitation for the money due under the Superintendance of Col. Thos J Henley, That the Signaters of all the creditors have not been obtaineee [obtained].

It was imposible to obtain them all, — For the reason that some are dead, some have long since left this Country for Frozen river Mines, some for Careboo, and some for Salmon river and else where, all having sold their claims against the Government before their departure. The larger portion of of whom gave orders on me for the amounts due them, Which orders, was accepted, to be paid so soon as the money was placed to my credit in the U.S. Assistant Treasury at San Francisco for that purpose. It will be seen however that the Signatures obtained are the original owners of the larger portion of the entire amounts due.

Very nearly all the Signaturs of the creditors to the Solicitation for the money due under the Superintendance of Jas Y McDuffie and A D Rightmire Esqrs have been obtained, all of which Expenditures not paid
