Valley Res. ever since Aug. last, I have
paid his expences from N.Y. to Washington
& while at Washington $20 In order
that he may have a personal
interview with the Sec. of Interior &
yourself about everything connected
with my Administration of affairs
at that place, its general wants
prospects &c — I would respectfully
refer you to the President himself
for the reliability of Mr Robinson,
who was one of the Witness sworn in
the investigation ordered by Genl
Wright last Winter
