Sir:
I herewith render a memorandum of the account of Joel Lewis, for services rendered on the Nome Cult Indian Farm, as certified to by Late Supt. McDuffie, in 1859, together with the two items of a/c for services during the term of Office of Supt. Agent Drebelbis, and certified toby that office.
At the request of parties interested, I have examined those accounts and find that the servi-ces were faithfully rendered. Mr. Lewis, who [illegible] as farmer and gardner, was faithful, industrial and skillful in the discharge of his duties, and very [illegible] in producing large

crops of grain and vegetables. His accounts was forwarded to the Department with the earnest wish that they may receive early and favorable considerations.
