In November 1862 I received from Mr. John Y. Bryant my agent at Washington a statement of the accts of Messrs E.G. & W J. Campbell of the Fresno Indian Agency in which the 2d Auditor make a mistake of $75.00 which was a mistake, and Mr Bryant informed me a Treasury would issue and be sent me for said amt, very soon, and as yet upwards of 13 months have elapsed and nothing recd from Mr Bryant, will you be kind enough to inform me whether or not the amount was ever paid Mr Bryant or not, and if not the reason of this great delay, your early attention to the above will greatly oblige
