I would be obliged to you could you give me a statement of the balance of account between the [Mr.?] and Tho J. Henley: Indian agent in California .

There is [said?] to a be a [balance?] of account against Mr. Henley - My purpose in asking grows out of inquiries on the [illegible] of [illegible] on his land.

Will you oblige me by such information as will enable me to inform them.
