Sisikyou County William Bryson being
duly sworn depseth
and says that he is the owner and holder
of two claims against the United
States of America one [illegible] to Anson Burr
and the other to Burr Donovan
Copies of which are hereto attached
that when he purchased them of the
[illegible] he did so by paying him & them
gold then for shortly after the service [illegible]
[illegible] for which the claim is made &
took this voucher [illegible] the
Government as the parties [illegible] [illegible]
audit was expected the money could
soon be paid & the vouchers could
be passed on, in discharge of said account
that the claims were certified as amt
by Wm Hanson but never paid and
the amount thereof is fairly due &
[illegible] says not
