Sir: In response to your letter of inquiry of the 24th March, I have the honor to inform you that the quadruplicate vouchers of Mr. B. S. Higgins, and Geo. Sergant constitute the claim of Mr. Bryant, and payment should be made to [illegible] Bryant Esqr., of this city, he now owing [owning?] the said claim. [illegible] the honorable very respectfully, your [obt?] [servant?], Mr. [illegible] Supt. Agent.
