Sir:
Will you inform me, if you have any means of
knowing, if the patent to "El Tejon Rancho" held by
Mr E. F. Beale, contains any provisions for the
subsistence and care of Indians on the land?

If so, what such provisions are, and whether he
has the right to eject Indians from said ranch.
