Sir:
Will you be kind enough
to forward to this office a plat of the Nome
Lacke Reservation, describing boundaries, number
of acres, where located &c. I am entirely
without knowledge of the existence of such as
Reservation, except what I can gather from parties
who are settled upon it, so far, I have not
been able to find any record of its location,
boundaries &c. It will not be needed for
Reservation purposes, but as the land is valuable, I
should like that some steps should be taken
by which the Government could realise some
portion of the large sum which has been
expended in improvements there.
