Sir

I have the honor to inform you that by order of Genl McDowell the following articles of clothing which had been condemned by a military board have been turned over to me for the benefit of the Indians under my charge viz 678 great coat capes, 7 great coats Cavalry, 17 great coats Infantry, 21 Sack coats, 23 Flannel Shirts, 8 prs Trousers. 2 Blankets. The goods have been shipped to Round Valley and will be taken up on our papers and issued to the Indians the same as other clothing.
