21 August 1407. Petrus Huguet appears. Presents two identical copies of a libel to initiate his appeal.
The judge receives the two copies; he orders that one be carried to the other party with an order to reply within five days.
The crier goes and comes back, and reports that he gave the libel to Mandalena.
