Oct 25th 1831. to Margaret Ann Caldwell. Children, 1st
Ann Agnes Lyle (died in infantcy) 2d Lizzie Margaret
Lyle (Paris Ky) and 3d William Joel Lyle, who married a
widow in Ohio. William Cowper Lyle married second
time on Oct 11th 1842 to Sarah Ellen Bell. Children,
1st Ellen Jane Lyle who married William J. Lyle of
Danville Ky. 2d James Bell, Lyle who married
Katie Stevens of Fayette Co Ky. 3d Robert Boggs Lyle
who married Virginia (Jennie) Kenney, a daughter of
Dr Wm M. Kenney Sr of Bourbon Co Ky. 5th William
Clay Lyle who died unmarried. 4th John, Alexander
Lyle who Nanie or Nunie Neely of Paris Ky.
