DAHLIA—The Dahlia is well known, but few are aware that if the seed is sown early in the spring they will bloom the first year. The seed which we have to offer is of the finest strain, and produces magnificent, very double flowers of large size and richest shades. Pkt. 10c.

DAISY—Popular perennials, blooming the first year from seed; very handsome for borders or pots; best double mixed. Pkt. 8c.

DIANTHUS—Deservedly popular, coming into bloom early and continuing throughout the season. The fragrance, beauty and bright coloring of their flowers are universally admired; easily cultivated and many of the varieties withstand our severe winters without protection, and produce better flowers the second year than the first.

Mourning Pink—A magnificent new variety, with very double, large flowers, of a peculiar dark color. The ground color of the flowers is a very dark mahogany, almost black, each petal edged with a clear-cut margin of pure white. Pkt. 10c.

EDELWEISS—This is the famous and true “Edelweiss” of the Alps. The flower is considered the proper present for a bride from her fiance on her wedding morn. The flowers are of downy texture, pure white and star shaped, and easily cultivated. Pkt. 15c.

ESCHSCHOLTZIA (California Poppies)—Showy summer flower plants; large saucer-shaped flowers of striking brilliancy in the sunlight; they flower profusely throughout the season. All colors mixed. Pkt. 5c.
