NEW TRICOLOR CUPHEA.—A valuable all-the-year-round flowering plant. This lovely Cuphea will give the greatest satisfactfon [satisfaction]; it is the most profuse flowering and healthy variety we know; planted in the flower bed, open-air, hanging basket or vase it will bloom profusely all summer long, after which it can be repotted for winter flowering. It is a thrifty grower and requires no special treatment. The foliage is distinct and handsome; the flowers are rich hued and stand out well from the foliage; the shape of the flower is rather curious; delicate rose-tinted green tubes, the brilliant red petals winging out the tips; more like a bright, flying little creature than a flower; the flowers are borne in profusion and are of lasting quality. We strongly recommend this rare novelty as a choice plant which has certainly come to stay; makes a splendid centre[center]-piece for a vase or basket (see cut). Fine plants for immediate bloom. Each 25c.
STAPELIA—This is a genius of curious plants, with showy, star-shaped flowers, well shown by this illustration; color buff yellow with maroon markings. Attract much attention on account of the singular appearance of their flower and peculiar odor. From Cape of Good Hope. Pot in rather poor soil and water very sparingly. Each 15c.
VIOLET, Swanley White—A truly superb variety which originated in Italy, and is called by some Comte Brazza and White Neapolitan. The large, double, pure white Bowers are well shown by the engraving, which is not exaggerated as to size. They are of easy culture and of most delicious fragrance. Each 15c.
Louise—Double purple, fragrant. Each 15c.
New Double Russian—A magnificent hardy variety for open ground culture, which we offer this year for the first time, and the colored illustration on front cover well shows the color. Our [text missing] tion shows the way in which the pla [text missing] covered with bloom. The flowers are large, very double, deliciously fragrant and of a very deep shade of blue, and a peculiarity is that one or two petals on each flower are dotted with red. They withstand the winter perfectly, with only a slight covering of leaves or straw. What more could you ask, as it has beauty, singularity, fragrance, abundance of bloom. ease of culture and hardiness, Don’t omit it from your order. Each 15c.

SULPHO TOBACCO SOAP.
In our tests this has proved the most effective insecticide and is perfectly safe to use. Its chief ingredient is the gum of the richest Virginia and Kentucky Leaf Tobacco. It is formed with Whale Oil and Sulphur, in a soluble state, into a soap. In this form it is very convenient for general use. The soap is easily dissolved in warm or cold water. Per 8 oz. can. 25c., or by mail, postpaid, for 35c.
