numerous heads on the stem, of
most delicious quality, with cabbage-like
head at top. Use and
cultivate like winter cabbage
AMERICAN MAMMOTH.- Greatly
superior variety of American
growth, wich forms heads about 3
weeks earlier than other sorts. It
makes stronger plants and more
heads. Profitable for market gardeners.

CHUFAS
A nice little ground nut greatly
liked by children. Its flavor resembles
the cocanut. Very prolific,
a single one yielding 200 to
400 nuts growing just under the
ground and easily reached by pigs
and poultry if they have access.
Grow best in light, sandy soil, well
fertilized. Plant in April, 10 inches
apart. In 2 1/2 - ft. rows. Cover lightly.
Soak seed before planting if

small, neat oval fruits, completely covered

WONDERBERRY.- Largely advertised. We
offer it as a novelty. Fruits about as large as
dried peas, blue black in color, with a peculiar

COLLARDS

Collards are very largely used as "greens" in
some parts of the country, especially in the South.
They are a form of loose-headed cabbage.
GEORGIA.- The most satisfactory variety for
general use. Pkt. 5c. oz. 10c. 1/4 lb. 25c.
CRESS
EARLY CURLED.- a well known salad. Sow at
intervals all season. Pkt. 5c. oz. 10c. 1/4 lb. 25c.
TRUE WATER.- Sow seeds along the running
water. Pkt. 10c. oz. 35c.
UPLAND CRESS.- a perennial sort: hardy; produces
well; same flavor as Water Cress. Grown on
high dry land; does not run to seed soon. Per pkt.

CHERVIL
(An ounce will sow 100 feet of drill.)
Leaves used in soups and salads.
Have a pleasant aromatic taste greatly
like. Cultivate like parsley. Pkt.

CHICORY
LARGE ROOTED.- Used as a substitute
for coffe. Cultivate the same
as carrots. Take up roots in the fall
cut in small pieces and let dry. When
wanted for use it is roasted and

CORN SALAD

Nice winter salad. Sow in September
in drills. Just before cold weather
