Yesterday we had 8 at dinner
the Devereux' - Mrs & Miss -
& Mrs [Eugene?] Hills & her
sister Miss Wynn Roberts
fr [Rallup] - a pleasant

Guests here since Friday last.
The Callices came fr: Ascot
on Friday & the [Lathe?] [Thursday?]
on the following day - Last Thursday
(12th June) F. & I went up to
town for Ld De Lisle's wedding
to Mrs Astell - we only went
to the after reception at Ld Gorts
house No 1. Portman Square
where we found a great crowd,
through whi we pushed our way
& where the rather [old?] looking
bridegroom & his spoza were
standing in the dining room - with
a huge crowd around them -
the new Lady De Lisle looks
a pleasant faced lady [?];
& people who know her say
she is [?] pleasant -
