Jan. Sunday 13 1861 At Concord all day - Heard brother Jasper all day. - Bro. Potter was at Salisbury for me. - At my room in the evening. - a very cold day. -

Monday 14 Up at five. - Had no recitation to day. Spent the day most of it in preparing a sermon on the Humanity of Christ. To prayer meeting in evening. Wrote to Rev. Brown + his girls in eve. retired at [unknown] 12.

Tuesday 15 A pleasant day in all of my classes - Studied on a sermon in evening. returned at 12. - Nothing unusual occured.
