I, John Cunningham, make the following report
of myself to the Hustings Court for the Corporation
of Lynchburg in the state of Virginia, that is to say
I report that I was born in the County of Down
Ireland, in the kingdom of Great Britain on
the day of in the year 1827- being now
in the 23rd year of my age; that I am a subject
of the Queen of Great Britain, owing allegiance to
that monarch, and none other , that I migrated
from Ireland to the United States in the year
1847; and that I intend to settle myself in the
town of Lynchburg in the state of Virginia
one of the United States. Given under my
hand, this 3rd day of November in the year
1857.
