What was your attitude toward military service in general and toward your call in particular?: I was anxious to get into service which fact caused me to enlist soon after war was declared
What were the effects of camp experiences in the United States upon yourself -- mental and physical?: I was physically benefited did not experience in particular change mentally
What were the effects upon yourself of your overseas experience?: broadened in my views of life
What effects, if any, did your experience have on your religious belief?: left no doubt as to the existence of a supreme being
If you took part in the fighting, what impressions were made upon you by this experience?: Impossible to describe except to say that I could not help placing a lower value on human life
What has been the effect of all these experiences as contrasted with your state of mind before the war?: none except an increased love of my flag and country I now regard war not as a game but something big serious disastrous
