This Indenture of three parts made this third
day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and thirteen, Between Benjamin Haley
of the city of Richmond, of the first part, George Winston
John Clark, George Greenhow, and all and every other
Just creditor or creditors as the said Benjamin Haley,
may have on the day of the date of these presents, of the second
part and George Williamson and Miles Turpin of the city
of Richmond, of the third part, Where as the said Benjamin
Haley stands justly indebted to the parties of the
second part, and being desirous of affording to them and
every other creditor whom he may have at this day the
best possable [possible] security in his power so that equal and impartial
Justice may be extended to all hath agreed to
convey unto the said George Williamson and Miles Turpin
in trust, for the purpose aforesaid all the estate real and
personal of the said Benjamin Haley's to be by them held
and applied to the use aforesaid, and none Other.
Now this Indenture therefore witnesseth that for the
consideration aforesaid on the part of the parties of the
second part, as also the further consideration of one dollar
by the said George Williamson and Miles Turpin to him
the said Benjamin Haley in hand paid, before the sealing
and delivery of these presents, the recept [receipt] whereof is hereby
acknowledged he the said Benjamin Haley hath given granted
