Know all men by these presents that I have this
day sold to Thomas Y. Smith of King & Queen
County two negroes, Mary and Betsy, for the
sum of Six hundred dollars the receipt of
which I hereby acknowledge, and do moreover
warrant the title to the said negroes against all
and every person whatever as witness my hand
and seal this 16th day of March 1822
